Love it but looks horrible after two weeks. Love it but looks horrible after two weeks. I bought it in the oat/gold color with the tin straps because it looked less like a fitness tracker and more like a bracelet I might wear for looks. It works great in terms of activity tracking and sleep tracking – so I’m really happy with the function side. But it’s impossible to keep clean, and this color just looks grubby after two weeks of wear. I work in an office, and not really in “dirty” places, so this is just light wear and tear. Even following the recommended cleaning instructions, I can’t get it looking close to new. The photo attached shows the jawbone up2 just cleaned but it still looks filthy. It’s not something that going to get better with age. Since I chose this for both looks and function, I can’t help but be disappointed.

Last only TWO months…. You are kidding me right Jawbone?! Very disappointed in this item. I have raved about this band for weeks and encouraged others to buy one. I have tried the Up 24, original UP 2 (with the bad clasp), Fitbit Charge, Fitbit HR, Garmin Vivofit etc. I was in love with this product until today when the band broke. I am very gentle with my products including my Apple Watch with does not have a scratch. I take it off to charge it to only find the band broken (see pictures attached). I called Jawbone at 1-800-529-2663 and after becoming miserable with the first person I spoke with, I politely ended the call and spoke with Armando in the California office. He was helpful but communicating with him was a task. Nevertheless, he requested I send him pictures of the item ( I sent copy of receipt too which shows my purchase date of October 19th. I am still awaiting his response…. At this point after using a product after only 2+ months, I am not interested in a replacement band for fear of the next one breaking as well…

Love the tracker BUT the band broke after two months of use! *UPDATED* – Great response from customer service! **UPDATE #2** I absolutely love this tracker. I had a far more expensive one, but the app for the UP2 and the features are far superior. I LOVE the vibration alarm in particular. My only issue with this tracker (and the only reason that I gave it four stars instead of five) is that I woke up the other morning to find that the band had broken during the night. I don’t know how this happened, as clearly there was nothing to snag it on in my bedding! I only just emailed Jawbone to tell them and ask for a replacement. I will update this review as soon as I hear from them and see how they resolve this issue. I’m in hopes that they will send me a new one at no charge, because it seems to me that it was a failure of the plastic and not anything that I did. The other thing that I am wondering is whether the data from the existing band will transfer when the new UP2 arrives. I will be seriously bummed if it doesn’t. I’m making great progress and have lost almost 9 pounds since I started using it…
